Hosted together with Blue Planet Wild India is a land of extraordinary cultural heritage and remarkable wildlife. This journey combines two of Central India’s finest tiger reserves with some of the country’s most pristine forest landscapes, offering an unforgettable wildlife experience.


This expedition provides excellent opportunities to observe the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger, Indian Leopard, Sloth Bear, Asian Elephant, Indian Gaur, several species of deer, reptiles, and an impressive variety of birdlife.


Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve is renowned for having one of the highest densities of Bengal Tigers in the world, making it one of India’s premier destinations for tiger sightings. Kanha National Park, the largest tiger reserve in Central India, is celebrated for its breathtaking meadows, dense sal forests, and thriving population of the endangered Hard-ground Barasingha.


April is one of the best months for wildlife viewing. As temperatures rise, animals become more active around water sources, significantly increasing the chances of memorable sightings of tigers and other wildlife. Itinerary Day 1 (15th of April): New Delhi

Upon arrival in New Delhi, guests will be welcomed and transferred to Lemon Tree Hotel (or a similar property). The remainder of the day is at leisure, allowing guests to relax and recover from their international journey.

Day 2 (16th of April) : New Delhi - Kanha

Guests will take an early morning flight from New Delhi to Jabalpur or Nagpur. Exact flight schedules will be confirmed closer to the departure date. Upon arrival, guests will travel by road to Tuli Tiger Corridor, Kanha. After check-in and lunch, there will be time to relax before departing for the first evening safari from 3:30 pm to 6:45 pm. Kanha offers excellent opportunities to encounter Tigers, Leopards, Sloth Bears, Indian Gaur, the endangered Hard-ground Barasingha, and an abundance of other wildlife and bird species. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.


Day 3, 4 & 5 (17, 18 & 19th of April): Kanha National Park Guests will depart early each morning at 5:30 am for a game drive, carrying a packed breakfast to enjoy during the safari. The safari concludes around 11:00 am, after which guests return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. The afternoon safari begins at 3:30 pm, with the drive continuing until approximately 6:45 pm. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.


Day 6 (20th of April): Kanha - Bandhavgarh

After the morning safari and lunch, guests will check out and drive to Bandhavgarh National Park in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. Upon arrival, guests will check into Bandhav Vilas (or a similar luxury lodge), followed by dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 7, 8, 9 & 10 (21, 22, 23 & 24th of April: Bandhavgarh National Park The schedule for the next four days follows a similar pattern. Guests will leave for the morning safari at 5:15 am, with safari timings from 5:30 am to 11:00 am. Bandhavgarh is one of India’s finest destinations for observing Bengal Tigers. Guests may also encounter Leopards, Sloth Bears, Indian Gaur, several deer species, and an incredible diversity of birdlife. A packed breakfast will be enjoyed during the safari in the heart of the forest. Guests return to the lodge around 11:00 am for lunch and relaxation before heading out for the evening safari from approximately 4:00 pm to 6:45 pm. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.


Day 11 (25th of April): Bandhavgarh - New Delhi Guests will enjoy a final morning safari with breakfast before returning to the lodge around 11:00 am. After lunch, guests will check out and drive approximately 3 hours to Jabalpur Airport for their flight to New Delhi. Upon arrival in New Delhi, guests will connect with their international departure flight later that evening. The exact timings of domestic flights will be confirmed closer to the tour date.
