Anique van der Kuil

I'm a 27-year-old wildlife photographer from the Netherlands. I have a bachelor’s degree in Creative Business at Saxion University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, where photography was one of my favorite classes.

During lockdown, I got my first camera and quickly discovered my passion for wildlife photography. After traveling to Uganda and Kenya with Matoke Tours in 2022, I was hooked and needed to find a way back to the continent of Africa.

A year passed when I started volunteering in South Africa in 2023. This was a life-changing experience, and I was lucky enough to join the photography project as a Wildlife Photography Coordinator. There I taught others the technical and creative sides of wildlife photography, as well as editing techniques and how to leverage social media to share their stories.

Over time, my own photography began gaining momentum. As new opportunities opened up, I made the decision to step away from my coordinator role to fully pursue my own path. Today, I lead photography tours around the world, guiding others in capturing powerful wildlife moments in some of the most extraordinary locations on the planet. Alongside that, I work as a Marketing Manager for multiple businesses, combining creativity, strategy, and storytelling to help brands grow with purpose.

This is only the beginning of an incredible journey, and I’m so grateful to have you along for the ride. Enjoy exploring, and thank you for stopping by.
